Kelly Gardiner is a licensed master social worker who joined Kilgalen & Associates part-time in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in clinical social work from Salisbury University & a master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland with a specialty in aging. She has worked in a both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Kelly has experience with helping adults work through trauma, life cycle transitions, and relationship and mood disorder issues.

Kelly offers a non-judgmental space to openly explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a confidential, supportive environment. She works to learn each person’s strengths to help them as develop self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.

Her approaches to treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic-Existential approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths-based approaches, and Psychodynamic theories. She believes in adapting to the needs of her clients and their unique treatment goals.

During downtime, Kelly enjoys reading, spending time with her cats and volunteering for her church production team.
